What size tag should I get for my pet?
The size of the ID tags is shown when selecting a size. As a guide small tags are suited for cats and toy/small dogs, medium tags for medium and large dogs, and large tags for giant dogs.
What does the lifetime guarantee cover?
We offer a lifetime guarantee all on ID tags engraved by us, except for plastic tags. We guarantee the engraving will remain readable for the life of the tag and the tag itself to be free from any manufacturing defects. To claim a warranty, please contact us, quoting your order number.
What should I engrave on my ID tag?
Most pet owners engrave a name and one or two phone numbers. You can also include any important information, such as "Deaf", or your vet's contact details. Some pet owners also include their address or suburb.
Are your ID tags waterproof?
Yes, all of our ID tags are waterproof. We guarantee our metal tags will not rust, corrode or break.
Can your ID tags be used for only pets?
Our ID tags are ideal for many items in case they get lost. You can use our ID tags on keys, luggage, school bags, surf boards/SUPs, and many other personal items.
How do I attach the ID tag to my pet’s collar?
Each ID tag comes with a stainless steel split ring to attach it to a collar or harness.
How heavy are the ID tags?
The weight of our tags vary but they are heavier than other tags made from thin aluminium or zinc. If you select the correct size for your pet, the weight is not an issue. If you are concerned about the weight, choose a lightweight tag such as Titanium or plastic.
How thick are your ID tags?
Our Stainless Steel and Enamel, Titanium, Diamante and Plastic tags are 3mm thick. Our flat Stainless Steel and Brass tags are 2mm thick.
Suitable for use in fresh and salt water, snow and wet climates. We guarantee our tags will not rust or corrode.
Regularly inspect the ID tag, engraving and split-ring for wear. Do not attach lead clip to split-ring - attach the lead to the D-ring directly.
Red Dingo ID tags come with a lifetime guarantee. We guarantee the engraving will remain readable for the life of the tag, our metal ID tags will not rust, corrode or break, and that the tag will remain free from any manufacturing defects. This guarantee does not cover any lost ID tags, surface scratching, or misuse.
